St. Georges Day

Broughton Church
This year 7th Banbury will again be holding our St. georges Day service at Broughton Church on Sunday 26th April.
Just like last year, Lord Saye & Sele at Broughton Castle has kindly agreed that we can march from inside the Castle grounds into Church in our sections with our flags.
It is very important on this special day that all of the boys attend and are wearing full uniform.
The leaders would like all the boys to meet in Broughton Castle car park at 10:20am, and then we will all walk over to the Castle, line up, and march into Church at 10:45am. The service will start at 11am, during which all of the boys and their leaders will renew their Scouting promises. All parents are warmly invited to join us in Church for the service, which should finish at approximately 12 noon.
7th Banbury have had a connection with the castle for many years now, and it would be great to see as many Beavers, Cubs and Scouts as possible at Broughton that Sunday for our own special St. Georges Day service.
The other leaders and I look forward to seeing your son on parade on 26th April, and once again would welcome parents to also come into Church.
