Fairport's Cropredy Convention 2014

Cropredy
A team of 20 scouts, leaders and parents from 7th Banbury helped out during Fairport's Cropredy Convention, parking hundreds of campers, and litter picking acres of field, as a part of Ron's Crew.
I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all my helpers for all the effort you put in over the festival. I have received nothing but complements about my 7th Banbury team, and I am really grateful for you all helping as much as you could, in the baking sunshine and the pouring rain. (And on Friday, it really did pour down!) We have also rasied a good chunk of money to go towards this year's fundraising target, donated by the festival goers.
Sunday morning, as I departed, I spoke to Allen Bishop (Head of Ron's Crew) and he thanked us all for the hard work we had put in, and asked if I would be happy to supply a team from 7th Banbury again next year. I have said yes, so keep your ears open around Easter next year for more information. If you didn't help out this year, but like the sound of helping out in 2015, let us know when the letter comes out next year. We all had a fantastic time, and would happily do it again.
